Illustration & Wellness

Whimsical Art Lessons
That Soothe Your Soul

A gentle creative space where illustration meets wellness — no experience needed, just an open heart and a curious hand.

The story

Art didn't feel like mine
until I stopped trying to be perfect.

I spent years convinced that art belonged to "real artists." Then one quiet afternoon, sitting with a brush and a cup of tea, something shifted. I stopped worrying about the outcome and started listening to the process — and that's when making art became a way of coming home to myself.

Painted Solace grew from that moment. I'm a solo artist and guide who blends whimsical illustration techniques with the gentle, restorative side of art therapy. These aren't courses with a certificate at the end. They're invitations to slow down, make something beautiful, and discover what your hands already know how to say.

Every lesson I teach — whether it's a botanical study or a free-flow watercolor session — is rooted in one belief: creativity isn't a talent you're born with. It's a practice that heals you as you go.

"Making art isn't just a skill — it's a path back to yourself."

Illustration Lessons

Whimsical art,
step by gentle step.

Learn to draw and paint in a style that feels playful, personal, and entirely your own. Botanical studies, loose watercolor florals, ink-and-wash characters — each lesson is designed for beginners and curious makers, not aspiring professionals. You'll finish every class with something you made and a little more trust in your hands.

  • Watercolor botanicals & florals
  • Whimsical ink illustration
  • Loose expressive sketching
  • Seasonal & themed projects

Art Therapy Sessions

Creativity as a way
back to yourself.

These are not clinical sessions. They are gentle, non-judgmental spaces where making something with your hands becomes a pathway to rest, clarity, and release. Guided by mindful prompts and a calm artistic process, you'll work through stress, transitions, and quiet overwhelm — one brushstroke at a time.

Wellness-oriented, not clinical. A supportive practice for adults navigating burnout, anxiety, or life transitions.

You don't have to be an artist.
You just have to be willing.

This space was made for you if…

You've been craving something
just for you.

You feel the weight of a full, busy life.

Work, responsibilities, screens. You need somewhere to put all of that down and pick up something gentler — even just for an hour.

You've always wanted to make art but believed you couldn't.

Maybe a teacher or a comparison once convinced you otherwise. Here, that story ends. Every mark you make is welcome.

You're moving through a season of change.

A new chapter, a loss, a transition. Art therapy sessions offer a soft, creative space to process what words alone can't hold.

You want wellness that actually feels joyful.

Not another checklist or rigid routine — just a practice that feels good while it's happening, and leaves you a little lighter when it's done.

If any of that sounds like you, you're in exactly the right place. The only thing you need to bring is yourself — supplies, skill, and experience are optional.
